OBIT MOORE, LUCILLE VIRGINIA JONES

MOORE, Lucille Virginia Jones, 81, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, January 8, 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Moore Sr. She was the former Assistant Director of Nurses at the old Burrell Memorial Hospital. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Chester Jr. and Marie Moore; two grandchildren, Vicki and Roger Moore, all of Midlothian; three sisters-in-law, Myrtle Moore of Roanoke, Barbara McQueen of Neptune, N.J., Letitia Penn of North Plainsfield, N.J.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Noel C. Taylor will officiate with interment in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
