OBIT REED, WARREN CARL

REED, Warren Carl, 73, of Christiansburg, died Saturday afternoon, January 8, 1994, at his home. Surviving are his wife, Tempest P. Reed; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Donald Richardson, Richmond; a sister and brother-in-law, Eula Gaye and Bob Smith, Riner; three grandchildren and spouses, Todd and Sharon Schultz, Burke, Va., Stephen and Donna Bowman, Glen Allen, Va., Michael Blake Richardson, Richmond; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Stone Schultz and Alexendra Reed Schultz. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, from the Richardson-Horne Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Douglas Kenney. Burial, with Masonic rites by McDaniel Lodge #86 A.F. & A.M., will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home and the family will receive friends there from 7 to 9 Monday evening. Arrangements by Richardson-Horne.
