OBIT MELTON, HARLEY HASKELL
MELTON, Harley Haskell, 50, of Route 1, Woodlawn, died at his home
Saturday, January 8, 1994. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Bond Melton; sons
and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Missy Melton and Paul Duane Melton, both of
Galax; grandson, Michael Harley Melton; granddaughter, Brittany Leigh Melton;
parents, Glen W. and Ethleen Farmer Melton, Woodlawn; sisters, Juanita Warf,
Galax, Geneva Quesenberry, Reva Nester, both of Hillsville, Marie Melton,
Woodlawn, Fay Snavley, Austinville; brothers, Dyer Melton, Herman Melton, and
Carroll Melton, all of Woodlawn, Joseph W. Melton, Hillsville, Virgil Melton,
Galax; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday,
January 10, 1994 at 2 p.m. in the Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church with
Ministers Elder Joe MdGrady and Ronnie Bowman officiating with burial in the
Melton Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax is in charge of
arrangements.
