Fieldcrest Cannon Inc., an Eden, N.C.-based textile maker operating a towel mill in Henry County, said Monday it has agreed with Kitan Consolidated Ltd. of Tel-Aviv, Israel, to distribute in North and South America the new Colorcot colored cotton bedding collection developed and manufactured by Kitan. Colorcot products are made of naturally grown desert sand, sage and white cottons. They are free of any chemicals or synthetic materials in the processing of the yarns and fabrics or in the making of the products and are packaged in recycled paper.
Martin, Hopkins & Lemon, a law firm, has moved its offices to 1000 First Union Tower in downtown Roanoke. The firm formerly was in the Boxley Building.
