OBIT PETERS, CHARLES JUNIOR

PETERS, Charles Junior, 67, of Roanoke, died Sunday, January 9, 1994 in a local hospital. Surviving are his wife, Lila F. Peters; five sons, Pete Peters, Lynchburg, Tony Peters, Marty Peters and Steve Peters, all of Roanoke, Toby Peters, Fla.; three daughters, Diane Lipes and Sherry Powell, Roanoke, and Pam Thurman, Charlottesville; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and JoAnn Peters; sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Rufus Hundley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at the graveside in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 1994 with Pastor Roy C. Rogers officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
