OBIT WRIGHT, IRENE LIGHT

WRIGHT, Irene Light, 76, of Salem, passed away Sunday, January 9, 1994. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas W. Wright. She is survived by her husband, Leonard A. Wright; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Wayne Garst, Brenda and Paul Jenkins; one son, Charles E. Wright and son and daughter-in-law, Leonard D. and Donna Wright; nine grandchildren, Betsy G. Cossaboon, Barry Garst, Kimberley Jenkins, Jeffrey Jenkins, Angela W. Barlow, Christopher Wright, Melissa Wright, Bobbie Jo Wright, and Charlie Wright; one great-grandchild, Coty Barlow; two brothers, Ezra and Raymond Light; two sisters, Rachel Mills and Christine Grisso. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 1994 at Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Dee C. Flory officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3825 Electric Road, S.W., Roanoke, Va. 24018, Green Hill Church of the Brethren, 2699 Harborwood Road, Salem, Va. 24153, or Camp Bethel, 2743 Bethel Road, Fincastle, Va. 24090. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem.
