OBIT DOWDY, REBA WINN

DOWDY, Reba Winn, of Roanoke, died Monday, January 10, 1994. She was the widow of Frank L. Dowdy. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Martha D. and John E. Cooper, Forest, Dorothy and David Howell, Highland, Calif.; Katheryn D. Carter, Farmville, one brother, Sterling W. Winn, Surfside Beach, S.C.; one sister, Margaret Winn, Roanoke; her grandchildren, Stephen Martin, Kelly Martin, Carole Martin, Judith Howell, and Stacy Howell; one great-grandchild, Justin Martin. Services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m, Thursday. Dr. Harry Y. Gamble and the Rev. M. Dennis Herman will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 12 noon Wednesday where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
