OBIT WALDRON, WESLEY A.
WALDRON, Wesley A., 78, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, January 11, 1994, in a
local hospital. He retired from Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #100. Mr.
Waldron was an Army veteran of World War II where he earned the Purple Heart
and a Bronze Star. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Booth Waldron; daughter,
Donna W. Duncan, Roanoke; granddaughters, Kelly Jo and Lacey M. Duncan,
Roanoke; brothers, Sherman H. Waldron, Willis K. Waldron, both of Montvale;
sisters, Lillian W. Jones, Evelyn W. Hartman, Lura W. McGeorge, all of
Roanoke, Eunice W. Atkinson, Bedford, Ruby W. Nichols, Villamont; a number of
nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 11: 30 a.m. Thursday at
Oakey's North Chapel by the Rev. Eugene Burris and the Rev. Olin Glidden.
Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive
friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's North Chapel.
