OBIT MITCHELL, VIRGINIA AGEE

MITCHELL, Virginia Agee, 79, of Rt. 1 Bedford, died Monday, January 10, 1994 at her residence. She was born in Bedford County on December 26, 1914, a daughter of the late Delbert Cornelius Agee and Mary Elizabeth Wood Agee. She was a member of Nicopolas United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Robin Leftwich Mitchell; two sisters, Mattie A. Wilkerson, Cathleen A. Smith, both of Bedford; 13 nieces and nephews; her special family, Taylor, Julie, Wendy and Brian Finch, Bedford. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Nicopolas United Methodist Church Cemetery Thursday, January 13, 1994 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert E. Maas officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
