Glenvar outrebounded Auburn 30-17 and had four turnovers as opposed to 17 for the Eagles.
The Highlanders led 35-32 at halftime and increased their lead to 10 in the third quarter before the Eagles cut it to the final margin.
Jason Anderson paced Glenvar (5-2) with 18 points. Brad Melton scored 16 and grabbed 11 rebounds and David Robinson added 13 points.
Jon Reed scored 26 points and Randy Bonds had 14 points for the Eagles (8-2). \
