BARLOW, June Marcie Cunningham, 60, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, January 13, 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Barlow Sr. Survivors include two sons, James H. (Lavetta) Barlow Jr., Charlottesville, Ray Barlow, North Chicago, Ill.; four daughters, April Barlow and Brigette Barlow, both of Roanoke, Amanda Barlow, Oak Park, Ill., Michelle Barlow, Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren, Ray II, Whitney and Deja Barlow, North Chicago, Ill., Jameta and James III Barlow, Charlottesville, Donzell Barlow, Roanoke; one sister, Theresa (Fred) Westfield, Montvale; mother-in-law, Ottie Barlow, Roanoke; one aunt, Elizabeth Griffin, Roanoke; nephew, Ronald Saunders, Hampton; special friend, Brenda Moore, North Chicago, Ill.; devoted friends, Gertie Manns, Beatrice Johnson and Houston Brown, all of Roanoke; a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the National Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation or Sweet Union Baptist Church Building Fund. Funeral services will be Saturday, 3 p.m. at the Sweet Union Baptist Church, with Dr. E.T. Burton officiating. Interment will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one-half hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
