OBIT-DENNIS, FRANK MICHAEL

DENNIS, Frank Michael, 58, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, January 12, 1994. He was a native of Spartanburg, S.C., and was preceded in death by his father, James F. Dennis. Mr. Dennis was a member of North Roanoke Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Drake Dennis; sons and daughters-in-law, Philip D. and Betsy Dennis, Roanoke; Michael D. and Mary Dennis, Montvale, Patrick A. Dennis, Roanoke; mother, Aliene D. Dennis, Spartanburg, S.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. James D. and Carolyn Dennis, David G. and Anne Dennis, all of Spartanburg, S.C.; sister and brother-in-law, Betty D. and Gerald Gibbs, San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren, Joshua and Nathan Bowles, Joseph and Hannah Dennis, all of Montvale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to North Roanoke Baptist Church or Hollins Rescue Squad. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at North Roanoke Baptist Church, by the Rev. Darryl G. Crim. The family will receive friends at the home following the memorial service. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
