OBIT-RIGNEY, LARRY WARREN, ("MAC")

RIGNEY, Larry Warren, ("Mac"), 45, of Pulaski, died Thursday night, January 13, 1994 in the Roanoke Memorial Cancer Center. He was born June 25, 1948 in Leaksville, N.C. He was preceded in death by his father, Basil G. Rigney. Surviving are wife, Reba Chandler Rigney, Pulaski; mother Louise Rigney, Dublin; three sisters, Mrs. Roy (Clenthia) Brewer, Speedwell, Mrs. Nathan (Faith) Stephens, Dublin, Mrs. Mark (Sue) Alley, Pulaski; one brother, William J. "Bill" Rigney, Draper. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made to the Ronald McDonld House, 2224 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke, Va. 24014. Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, is in charge of arrangements.
