BARNARD-MARKWALTER

Elizabeth Brooke Barnard and Patrick Stephen Markwalter are engaged and planning to be married June 11, 1994 in Roanoke, Va. She is a daughter of Mary Virginia Barnard and the late Dr. John William Barnard. She was graduated from North Cross High School, the University of Virginia and has her master's degree in counseling from Radford University. She is employed by Signet Bank, Richmond. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sheehon Markwalter of Augusta, Ga. He was graduated from Aquinas High School, the University of Virginia and is a student in the College of Medicine, Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
