The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Joy Via Foster of Christiansburg, Va. and the late Paul Foster, Jr. The bride is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foster, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. George E. Via, Sr. of Christiansburg, Va. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Stanziale of Sharpsburg, Ga.
The bride was escorted to the alter by her brother, Michael Paul Foster. The bride wore her mother's wedding gown of parchment satin, fashioned with a frosted bodice of Alencon lace, long sleeves, portrait neckline and full skirt which extended into a chapel train. Her fingertip veil of French illusion was attached to a cap of seed pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses.
The maid of honor was Natalie Peeler, friend of the bride. She wore a street length suit of iridescent green taffeta. The bridesmaids were Martha Via Harrison, Hickory, NC, cousin of the bride, Christine Stanziale of Peachtree City, Ga., sister of the groom, Gina Cellino and Michele Peeler, Athens, Ga., friends of the bride. They were attired in suits fashioned after that of the honor attendant. The flowergirl was Michelle Harrison and the ringbearer was Jonathan Harrison, both cousins of the bride, from Hickory, N.C.
Michael Cellino served as best man. The ushers were Russell Stanziale, brother of the groom; Greg Garcia, Paul Peeler and David Phillips, friends of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and Radford University. She is a nurse in outpatient surgery with Athens Regional Medical Center. The groom attended Layfette County High School and is a graduate of the University of Georgia. He is employed with Athena Management.
Following a wedding trip to CostaRica, the newlyweds are residing inAthens, Georgia.
