Rachel Greenway Foster and Derek Gray Thompson were married December 18, 1993, in Christ Church Episcopal. The Rev. Rod Sinclair performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the church. The maid of honor was Monica Metzler, friend of the bride. Flower girl wasHannah Foster, younger sister of the bride. The best man was Daniel Thompson, father of the groom. The bride, a daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth Foster, of Blacksburg, is a senior nursing student at Eastern Mennonite College. The bridegroom, a son of Daniel and Dolly Thompson, of Blacksburg, is a senior at Bridgewater College. The newlyweds will live in Harrisonburg, Va.
