OBIT-GROSE, LLOYD M.

GROSE, Lloyd M., 75, of Vinton, died Friday, January 14, 1994, at a local hospital. He a army veteran of World War II and was the founder and former owner of Vinton's Dogwood Restaurant. He was retired from Craighead Distributing Company and was a member of Blue Ridge Post #484 of VFW. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Catherine Miller Grose; son, L. Michael Grose, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 1994, with the Rev. Kevin Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
