OBIT-HARRIS, IVREE HILTON

HARRIS, Ivree Hilton, 81, of Price's Fork, died Saturday, January 15, 1994, at Radford Community Hospital. Mrs. Harris was born in Giles County, Va. on August 28, 1912, a daughter of the late James D. and Orah Bee McPherson Hilton. She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church for 45 years. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Lace H. "Red" Harris. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Bee Harris and Reese Bedwell and Donna Harris and Freddie Oliver; grandchildren, Brian and wife, Tammy Oliver, Darron Oliver, Karen and husband, Mack Brown and Steve Bedwell; great-grandchildren, Renee Brown, Jada Brown, David Bedwell, Tony Grimshaw all of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 1994, at St. Michael Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jacob Mayer officiating. Interment will follow in the Snider Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 446, Christiansburg, VA 24073 or St. Michael Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 2308 Merrimac Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
