STARKEY, Herbert Hoover, 65, of Elliston, died Sunday, January 16, 1994. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian G. Starkey, Elliston; three daughters, Mrs. Patsy S. Angell, Salem, Mrs. Martha S. Tolbert, Mrs. Patricia S. Pruett both of Elliston; one son, William T. Starkey, Elliston; six sisters, Mrs. Lillian Helm, Mrs. Shirley Helm, Mrs. Beulah Akers, Mrs. Evelyn Jones all of Elliston, Mrs. Ethel Jewell, Mrs. Ruth Flourney both of Salem; two brothers, Robert A. Starkey, Nelson R. Starkey both of Elliston; one granddaughter, Miss April M. Angell, Salem; two grandsons, Michael D. Blankenship, Benjamin L. Pruett both of Elliston. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 1994, at Big Spring Baptist Church. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Arrangements by Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home, Elliston.
