OBIT-RAMSEY, RENZY MATHIAS

RAMSEY, Renzy Mathias, 68, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, January 15, 1994, at University of Va. Hospital, Charlottesville. Born July 25, 1925, in Buena Vista, he was the son of the late Robert H. Ramsey and Dora Mason Ramsey. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Buena Vista. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Smith. Surviving are former wife, Etta Ramsey, Richmond, Va.; daughter, Loretta Powell, Peachtree City, Ga.; two sons, Larry Ramsey, Buena Vista, Va., Jerry Ramsey, Richmond, Va.; also six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 19, 1994, 2 p.m. from the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel, with Elder Alvin Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.
