OBIT-MEYER, GAYLE A.

MEYER, Gayle A., 71, of Vinton, formerly of Kankakee, Ill., died Sunday, January 16, 1994, at her home. She was retired from Illinois Bell with 31 years service and was the widow of Richard J. Meyer. Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia Meyer, Norma Carole Usher, both of Vinton, Joyce and Gerald Campbell of Herscher, Ill.; son and daughter-in-law, Dane and Cindy Meyer of Blue Ridge; six grandsons; two sisters, Wanda Day of Vinton, Dara Valade of Racine, Wisc. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of the Clansey-Gernon Funeral Home, Kankakee, Ill., 11 a.m. Friday, January 21, 1994. Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
