OBIT-MITCHELL, VICTOR KELLY
MITCHELL, Victor Kelly, 81, of Roanoke, died Sunday, January 16, 1994, in a
local hospital. He was a son of the late Homer and Edna Kelly Mitchell. Mr.
Mitchell was a former employee of Valvoline of Butler, Pa., Warren City Tank
and Boiler Company of Warren, Ohio, the Squibb Corporation, Revlon and E. W.
Bliss Corporation. He was a member of Jerusalem Masonic Lodge #026, A.F. &
A.M., the Crescent Temple and the Scottish Rite. Mr. Mitchell was also a
member of the International Order of Odd Fellows. He is survived by his wife,
Charlotte Torrance Mitchell, Roanoke; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert
Mitchell, Yuma, Ariz., and Bruce and Joyce Mitchell, Roanoke; three
grandchildren, Weldon Dowd III, Christopher Mitchell and Leigh Anne Mitchell;
sister-in-law, Jenny Mitchell, Warren, Ohio. Funeral services will be held in
the Chapel of Devotion, 10 a.m. Saturday at Butler County Memorial Park,
Butler, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the
Back Creek Fire & Rescue Squad, 7130 Bent Mountain Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
