OBIT-WHEELER, MINNIE ZOLA CREASY

WHEELER, Minnie Zola Creasy, 87, of Vinton, passed away Sunday, January 16, 1994. She was the daughter of the late William A. and Laura Wheeler Creasy of Bedford County. Mrs. Wheeler was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church for 60 years, had worked for Kenrose Manufacturing Company for 21 years and as a hospital aid for 11 years. She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, L. H. (Jack) and Juanita Wheeler of Blue Ridge, James A. and Joyce Wheeler of Moneta, Alfred J. and Nancy Wheeler, Kenneth E. and Arlene Wheeler, D. (Joe) and Shirley Wheeler, all of Goodview; two daughters and son-in-law, Dorothy W. Ragland of Chesapeake, Fay and Vincent Graham Sr. of Portsmouth; one brother and sister-in-law, Nelson A. and Pat Creasy of Hollins; sister-in-law, Dorothy Creasy of Vinton; seven sisters and brothers-in-law, Grace Lyman of Lynchburg, Mary Osby Marsh of Lynchburg, Lois Poff of Fredericksburg, Teresa Douthat of Lynchburg, Inez Highberg of Lynchburg, Naomi and John DePhillips of Devon, Conn., Vera and David Schreiber of La Belle, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a dear nephew, Thomas Swanton of Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be held on 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 1994, from the Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Miller and Rev. Jesse Chance officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
