OBIT-NICHOLS, WALTER HERBERT

NICHOLS, Walter Herbert, 58, of Rocky Mount, died Monday, January 17, 1994, in a Roanoke hospital. Surviving are his mother, Ola S. Nichols, Eldercare of Franklin County; one brother, Garland Nichols, Hardy; two sisters, Louise Altice, Columbus, Miss., Jeanette Pipenhagen, Rocky Mount; four nephews, three nieces; ten great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Ron Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main Street in Rocky Mount.
