NEWTON, May Shew, 77, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, January 16, 1994, at Heritage Hall Health Care Center. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William Edward and Vicki Newton, Blacksburg, Anthony David and Carol Newton, Perth, Australia; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Roanoke Salem Chapter, 320 Hershberger Rd., N.W., Roanoke, Va. 24012. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
