OBIT-TOLLIVER, ROBERT F.

TOLLIVER, Robert F., 73, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Roanoke, Va., died Sunday, January 16, 1994. He moved in death from his earthly home and family in Houston to join forever, his Lord and family in heaven. While living in Roanoke, Rob served as the first Resident Custodian at Shenandoah Homes. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Nila Mozingo Tolliver; daughters and sons-in-law, Trulafaye and Mike Bowsher and Dorothy Charlene and Gary Parsons, all of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Robert and Doris Tolliver, Virginia Beach; a foster son and wife, the Rev. Richard Wayne and Cindy Porter, Marietta, Ohio; a brother and sister, as well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted in Houston with the Rev. Ron Duncan, the Rev. Jerry Hardisty and the Rev. Charles Flanagan officiating on Wednesday, January 16, 1994. Another visitation and funeral service will be conducted by nephews, the Rev. Roger Tolliver, and the Rev. Oakey Tolliver under the direction of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, West Virginia on Saturday, January 22, 1994. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Gulf-Coast/Mid-America Bible College, 3500 S.W. 119th, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73170.
