FRIENDS OF NEW RIVER TO MEET AT MUSEUM

An open meeting for Friends of the New River will be held Jan. 25 from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Virginia Tech Museum of Natural History. Gordon Love from the geology department at Radford University will talk on "The Geology of the New River."

Adopt-a-Stream programs, river cleanups, local float trips and other projects will be discussed. In case of snow, the meeting will be held Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
