OBIT MEADOR, GLADYS SMITH

MEADOR, Gladys Smith, 96, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, January 18, 1994. Mrs. Meador was a member of Belmont Baptist Church. She was the widow of William David Meador and is survived by four grandchildren, Vickie Cato, Herman William Meador II, David K. Meador and Robert T. Meador, all of Roanoke; a niece, Sally Smith, Washington, D.C.; a special friend, Marjorie R. Richards, Roanoke; also surviving are several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the crypt at Chapel Garden Mausoleum at Sherwood Memorial Park, 10 a.m. Friday, January 21, 1994, with the Rev. Wayne Harrison officiating. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel after 1 p.m. Thursday.
