OBIT ST.CLAIR, VERNON R.

St.CLAIR, Vernon R., 82, of Vinton, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 1994. He was predeceased by his wife, Christine B. St.Clair and a son, Aubrey St.Clair. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Alton and Pat St.Clair, Kenneth and Joan St.Clair, both of Vinton, Marshall and Joyce St.Clair of Fayetteville, N.C., Artie M. St.Clair of Norfolk; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janie and Dick Chewning of Vinton, Annie and Bobby Pollard of Blue Ridge; two sisters, Nellie S. Gray and Ethel S. Dooley, both of Vinton; also eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held noon Friday, January 21, 1994, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Basham and the Rev. Donnie Glass will officiate. Burial to follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel after 3 p.m. Wednesday and anytime Thursday.
