FAMILY OF 9 WINS $16.2 MILLION LOTTO

Lillie M. Thomas of Norfolk purchased the winning ticket for Wednesday night's drawing. The winning numbers were 5, 15, 19, 30, 32 and 44.

Thomas said the family members have been playing the lottery together every week since the game began. They plan to share the jackpot.

The other family members are Susie Hundley, Ricardo Hundley, Terri Fluker and Willie Parker of Norfolk; Jesse Hundley, Myron Parker and Dolly Thornton of Chesapeake; and Alonza Hundley of Virginia Beach.

Lottery officials said the family received their first payment Thursday of $553,973 after taxes. They will receive additional annual payments of $554,200 after taxes.
