FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOPS AT RU

Radford University will sponsor four financial aid awareness workshops Monday and Tuesday for Radford University students, prospective college students and their parents.

Sessions will be held in Heth Ballroom at Heth Student Center Monday, 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m. (graduate session) and 6:30 p.m., and Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. Financial Aid Director Buddy Johnston will lead the workshops.

Topics will include the different types of financial aid available and how to complete application forms.

Door prizes will be awarded.

The RU Foundation will announce its new merit and curriculum-based scholarships at the 6:30 p.m. session Monday.

The deadline to apply for financial aid for the 1994-95 school year is March 1. Radford University students unable to attend one of the workshops should pick up a financial aid application and information after Jan. 31.
