STUDENT WORKER NOMINATIONS SOUGHT

Radford University is seeking nominations from faculty and staff members for its new $250 student worker achievement awards.

The university employs more than 1,200 students, and awards will go to two undergraduate and one graduate student at the university's annual awards reception in March. University President Donald Dedmon will present the awards.

To be eligible, students must have:

A minimum grade-point average of 2.5 for undergraduates and 3.25 for graduates.

Worked all contracted hours.

Provided truly commendable service to the university community.

Maintained excellent relationships with other students, faculty and staff.

Exceeded the call of duty in performing campus work.

The Financial Aid Office will take nominations through Feb. 25. Nomination forms are available at financial aid or at Heth Student Center.

The university's financial aid office and the RU Foundation recently approved funds for the awards.
