OBIT MILAN, HERBERT H.

MILAN, Herbert H., 68, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, January 20, 1994. He was part owner of Milan Brothers, Inc. Surviving are his wife, Mary H. Milan; a son, Mike Secrist, North Carolina; a grandson, Steven Secrist, U.S. Navy; a sister, Louise M. Nassir, Calif.; five brothers, Joseph H. Milan Jr., Ellis H. Milan, Richard J. Milan Sr., all of Roanoke, George J. Milan, Thomas M. Milan, both of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday from Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Stofft officiating. Interment will be private, with a memorial liturgy to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church Debt Fund (2505 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018) or the Cave Spring First Aid and Rescue Squad (P.O. Box 20181, Roanoke, VA 24018-0019). Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 2 p.m. Saturday where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
