Miss Moore is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Moore of Brevard, N.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph L. Chandler, Jr. of Southern Pines, N.C.

A graduate of St. Andrew's School and Radford University, she is employed by Hecht Department Store in Roanoke, Virginia.

The groom-elect's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thomas Avis and Mrs. John David Norman and the late Mr. John David Norman of Roanoke, Virginia.

A graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Radford University, he is employed by Avis Construction Company in Roanoke, Virginia.

The wedding is planned for April 9, 1994 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Savannah, Georgia.
