OBIT ROBERTSON, VETRICE M.

ROBERTSON, Vetrice M., 93, of Route 1, Hardy, passed away Friday, January 21, 1994 in the Bedford County Nursing Home. She was born January 28, 1900 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Morrison Minter and Erma McLain Minter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Peter Robertson. She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church. She is survived by five stepdaughters and their husbands, Ruby Delong, Vinton, Hazel and Ray Wuergler, Hardy, Clara Weurgler, Moneta, Melva and Odell Hurt, Goodview, Verna and Robert Jones, Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Verna Debo, Montvale, Mrs. Maggie LaPrade, Goodview; a number of stepgrandchildren; stepgreat-grandchildren and stepgreat-great-grandchildren; also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 24, 1994 at 2 p.m. from the Epworth United Methodist Church by the Rev. Scott McLain. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
