OBIT CRONISE, MISS RUTH MARIE

CRONISE, Miss Ruth Marie, ("Patsy"), 60, of Fincastle, died Friday, January 21, 1994. Born in Botetourt County, she was the daughter of Aubrey E. and Meta Bertha Coffman Cronise. She was a graduate of Radford University and Peabody College. She taught in Botetourt County, Roanoke City and Roanoke County Public Schools. At the time of her retirement, she was a librarian at Hollins College and was a lifetime member of the Wheatland Lutheran Church. She is survived by numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 1994, at 2 p.m. in Rader Troutville Chapel, with the Rev. Paul Gunsten officiating. Interment will follow in Wheatland Lutheran Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fincastle or Troutville Rescue Squads. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
