OBIT CONDON, MARGARET LEWIS

CONDON, Margaret Lewis, 61, of Salem, formerly of Goshen and Charlottesville, died Saturday morning, January 22, 1994, at the Richfield Nursing Center following an extended illness. Born in Staunton, September 12, 1932, she was the daughter of David A. and Grace Davis Condon. She was raised in the Goshen area and attended the Martha Lloyd School in Troy, Pa. She had been a resident of the Richfield Home for the past 12 months. She was a member of the Goshen United Methodist Church and attended the First Methodist Church of Charlottesville when she lived there. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mildred Condon Combs of Chambersburg, Pa.; two nephews, David A. Condon of Moneta, and James H. Condon of Hampton; three nieces, Mrs. Cary Walters of Cary, N.C.; Mrs. Linda Darby and Mrs. Schatzi C. Fitz-James, both of Stafford; a great-nephew and niece, Alex and Catherine C. Darby of Stafford; three cousins, David E. Crockett of Arlington, Joseph W. Crockett of Midlothian and Harold M. Crockett of Fort Worth, Texas. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 1994, at the Goshen United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Douglas Desper. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David and Joseph Crockett, David and James Condon, David Wolfe and Ed Burns. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 at the Sensabaugh & Zimmerman Funeral Home. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Martha Lloyd School, Troy, Pa.
