OBIT MILLER, JEAN DILL MATTICE
MILLER, Jean Dill Mattice, of Salem, died Saturday, January 22, 1994, at
Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Steve James Miller Jr. In
addition to her husband, Mrs. Miller is survived by one daughter, Stephanie M.
Goh of Versailles, Ky.; three sons, Steve James Miller III of Salem, Charles
Dexter Miller, and Gregory D. Miller, both of Fincastle; ten grandchildren. A
memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 25, 1994, at the John M. Oakey
& Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with Dr. O. Leighton Culler, interim
Minister of Salem Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Tom Clay, Chaplain
Richfield Retirement Community, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family
has requested donations to the American Lung Association, 6318 Peters Creek
Rd., Roanoke, Va., or the American Heart Association, 4504 Starkey Rd.,
Roanoke, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel after
the service.
