OBIT FITZGERALD, ARBY CAMPBELL

FITZGERALD, Arby Campbell, 88, of Lexington, died Saturday, January 22, 1994 in a Roanoke hospital. She was born in Vesuvius June 23, 1905, the daughter of the late Bates and Florence Campbell. She was the widow of the late Luther J. Fitzgerald. Surviving are three daughters, Helen Fitzgerald, Greenville, Shirley Southers, Lexington, Ruth Jarvis, Knoxville, Tenn.; one son, Charles E. Fitzgerald, Buena Vista; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Bill Banks. The burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday night at their home.
