OBIT THOMPSON, CHRISTOPHER GEORGE

THOMPSON, Christopher George, 13, of Richmond, died Saturday, January 22, 1994. Chris was in the 7th grade at Collegiate School in Richmond. He is survived by his parents, Susan M. and Don M. Thompson; sister, Caroline M. Thompson; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Merkel of Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Roanoke. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood followed by a memorial service 11 a.m. Tuesday at River Road Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Collegiate School, North Mooreland Road, Richmond, Va. 23229 or the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club, Inc., Koger Center, Box K-82, Richmond, Va. 23288.
