NORTH CROSS BLOWS OUT CARLISLE

Emily Cook scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Heather Perry had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists to lead North Cross to a 46-15 victory over Carlisle Monday night in girls' high school basketball at the Carter Athletic Center.

North Cross (7-3 overall, 5-1 Blue Ridge District) jumped out to a 9-0 first-quarter lead and put the game away by outscoring Carlisle by 14 points in the third quarter.

Pulaski County 77\ Patrick Henry 35

Jodie Hallett scored 20 points to lead the Cougars to the Roanoke Valley District victory over the Patriots.

Pulaski County (8-3, 6-0) opened a 43-15 halftime lead with its pressure defense and height advantage.

Elisha Moore led Patrick Henry (0-10, 0-6) with 10 points.
