An incorrect diagnostic module installed in some of the trucks means neither the air bag nor its warning light will work. Ford said it thinks about 10 of the 3,300 trucks covered in the recall are affected.
In a separate action, about 300 1994-model E350 single rear wheel vehicles equipped as school buses are being recalled to fix the parking brake.
Federal law requires the buses be able to hold on a 30 percent angle with application force of no more than 125 pounds. The parking brakes on the recalled vehicles can hold, but it takes greater pressure to set them.
