ROANOKE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

IN OTHER ACTION: \ Tentatively agreed to freeze the county's real estate tax rate for the budget year that begins July 1. The board scheduled a public hearing on the tax rate for Feb. 22.

\ Rejected a $224,417 water bill from Roanoke. The bill is part of $758,647 in disputed water charges that the two parties have agreed to settle in court.

\ Nominated Hollins Supervisor Bob Johnson to serve another term as county representative on the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission.
