OBIT HARDY, JOHN WILLIAM CHESLEIGH JR.

HARDY, John William Chesleigh Jr, 85, of Roanoke, died Monday, January 24, 1994. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Hazel Rutledge Hardy; two sons, Harold W. Hardy and Donald L. Hardy; a brother, Ernest M. Hardy, all of Roanoke. Graveside funeral services will be held noon Thursday at Fairview Cemetery by the Rev. Robert L. Sadler. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Roanoke Rescue Squad.
