OBIT ANDERS, FRANKLIN W.

ANDERS, Franklin W., 72, of Christiansburg, died Monday, January 24, 1994 in Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a retired employee of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Surviving are his wife, Betty Willis Anders; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna Anders, Roanoke, Charlotte and Donnie Reed, Christiansburg; a beloved granddaughter, Amber Reed; one brother, Randall Anders; one sister, Doris Anders, both of McCoy; a special friend, Jack Kipps, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 27 at the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted by the Rev. Jerry Sloss and the Rev. Douglas Kanney with entombment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to either the American Cancer Society, 118B N. Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Va. 24073 or the Christiansburg Fire Department, P.O. Box 833, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Wednesday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
