OBIT ROBERTS, CHARLEY ERVE

ROBERTS, Charley Erve, 78, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, January 25, 1994, at his residence. Mr. Roberts was born on November 10, 1915, in Amherst County. He was a member of the Natural Bridge Pentecostal Holiness Church, Natural Bridge, and was retired from the Bernson Silk Mill. Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Helen Moore Roberts, Buena Vista; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. Marvin and Bonita H. McDaniel, Fredericksburg, Mr. and Mrs. William N. and Barbara Lawhorn, Lynchburg; one son, William F. Huffman, Lexington; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 1994, at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Conald Fogus and the Rev. Marvin H. McDaniel officiating, with burial to follow in the Green Hill Cemetery, Buena Vista. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, P.O. Box 948, Lexington, Va. 24450. The family will receive friends at their residence at anytime. Arrangements by the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service, Buena Vista.
