U.S. ENDS BIGGEST MIA SEARCH SINCE WAR

The United States' biggest search to try to account for American troops missing in the Vietnam War ended Wednesday, after drawing praise from U.S. officials for Vietnamese cooperation.

A U.S. official declined to say how many remains were found during the three-week search pending a joint U.S.-Vietnamese forensics review.

A similar operation is planned to begin in late February and run for four weeks. - Associated Press
