OBIT-BROWN, RUBY W.

BROWN, Ruby W., 89, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, January 25, 1994. A native of Lynchburg, she was a popular and classical pianist in this area. The widow of H. Barrington Brown, she was the daughter of James Neal and Mary E. White. Surviving are one son, H. Barrington Brown, Roanoke; two daughters, Toni Brown, Alexandria, and Caroline M. Brown, Roanoke; a sister, Claudine Muddiman; and a brother, Earl J. White, Roanoke. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, by the Rev. Ken Stofft at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. Friends may call at the home Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the home, 505 Arbor Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24014.
