OBIT-MILLER, MARY VIRGINIA
MILLER, Mary Virginia, 78, of Roanoke, formerly of Natural Bridge, died
Tuesday, January 25, 1994, at the Friendship Manor Convalescent Center in
Roanoke. Mrs. Miller was born in Augusta County on April 21, 1915, a daughter
of the late Benton Tanksley Walters and Lottie Bell Spitler Walters. She was
the widow of Charles W. Miller. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Belle
Thompson, Natural Bridge, Carrie Margaret Dehne, Glen Allen; two sons, William
K. Ralston, Roanoke; Robert Lee Ralston, Stuarts Draft; several stepchildren;
two sisters, Helen Shoe, Greensboro, N.C., Lula Roberts, Burnville; two
brothers, John Walters, Roanoke; Tom Walters, Roanoke; seven grandchildren;
and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January
28, 1994, at 1 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Nathan Miller
officiating. Burial to follow in the Old Providence A.R.P. Cemetery,
Spotswood. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 to 9 p.m at
the funeral home and at other times at the Mrs. Thompson's home. Arrangements
by the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
