OBIT-CAMPBELL, MARY ANN

CAMPBELL, Mary Ann, 67, of 1229 Walnut Street, Bedford, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 1994 in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 24, 1926 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Willie I. Owen and Val Elizabeth Cobb Owen. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Campbell; two daughters, Barbara Beach, Bedford, Betty Jean Vance, Goode; one son, James E. Campbell, Bedford; three sisters, Edith Carter, Jacquelin Mayhew, both of Bedford, Iris Kirby, Huddleston; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 28, 1994 at 1 p.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, by the Rev. William Steele. Interment will follow in the Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
